• I am a Colorado native and grew up with the Colorado outdoors as my playground and constant companion. My art is reflective of and deeply connected to the outdoors and nature.

As a CNC laser and graphic artist, I work with wood, metal, glass, and other organic materials. I create and infuse each piece of my art with color, handcrafted frames, and personalized design work. My affinity to working with a variety of different types of wood is directly connected to the challenge of incorporating the organic irregular forms, textures and color found in wood into each art piece.

Additionally, I am a proud father, husband, and a full-time Denver firefighter. Working as a firefighter can be stressful. My artistic style often contrasts and embodies pieces which inspire and others which reflect a more somber side.

Structure Fire Studios is my passion and where you can find me on my days off, losing track of time, and creating art. I am honored to create and share my art with you.

  • Susan Fontaine is a ceramic artist who works from her home studio in south Boulder. She specializes in making ceramic cremation urns as well as other artistic and functional pieces. Her art is constantly evolving as she loves to try new techniques! Raku, crystalline and horsehair processes are old time favorites…and currently she is exploring working with layering glazes on functional pieces for a colorful and more dramatic effect. Her work is available at her Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/SacredUrnsEtc

  • Rosalie (Kalidasi) Thompson is a ceramicist, painter and muralist based in Northern Colorado. Her art practice is all about creative exploration and enjoying the process of making work. By taking the focus away from a specific outcome, her art finds its own voice and evolves in a more organic and creative way.

As a former resident artist at Eldorado Mountain Yoga Ashram, she had the great fortune of painting contemporary thangka- style murals in the temples and sacred spaces at all 3 Shambhavananda ashrams. In recent years she has shifted her focus from painting to ceramics. Her many years of painting on walls and canvasses are evident in the highly decorated surfaces of her ceramics work.

Watch her social media and website for more of her playful and colorful functional ceramics, as well as her upcoming woodfired ceramic work- less colorful by nature of the process, she is excitedly exploring larger and more sculptural forms with spiritual themes!

  • Don (Sanje) Murray and Diana (YaDevi) Shellenberger started keeping bees as a response to concerns about how agricultural practices are imperiling pollinator populations. In 2021, we made our hobby into a business, Buddha And The Bees. Like the bees, we use the ingredients from our immediate environment-the wax and honey from the bees and flowers and herbs from our pesticide-free gardens -to handcraft pure beeswax candles and deluxe skin care products. We also do our part to make the environment safe for honeybees and other pollinators by sourcing organic and fair trade ingredients and using recyclable, reusable and compostable packaging.
